Intricate extension and conversion
About this project
PRIORY CORNER CASE STUDY
Priory Corner is a Grade II Listed Building and dates from around the mid-18th Century with 19th Century modifications, most notably the fine 19th Century pedimented portico to the front elevation. Originally known as The Home Farm, this hints back to the buildings’ more modest agricultural origins.
The proposals include the conversion of a coach house to the rear of the property, the erection of a high-quality timber framed carport and the reinstatement of metal railings to the principle elevation along with a garden wall built from reclaimed bricks and the planting of a Yew hedge, replacing a non-native Leylandii.
